You did a fantastic job as Joel, and I would have loved to see another Left Behind type DLC focusing on his hunter days. There is a lot of talk about people having mixed feelings about his character and his decisions, how do you feel about him?

Having worked retail as well I always try to not be an asshole to employees face-to-face or over the phone, no matter how much I want to be one.
Comcast is the exception though, I was only with the company for 3 months before I left for another company that started servicing my area. Those 3 months of shitty technicians, shitty customer service and some asshole rep trying hard to keep my service (not as hard as in that video, but close) I finally lost it. I tried being civil at first but after 10 minutes the conversation basically devolved into:
CC: Are you sure you don't want to try our new package?
Me: I don't want your fucking package, I want to disconnect my service.
C: is there nothing I can do for you?
M: you can fuck off with the questions and disconnect my service.
C: we have this great new package though and...
M: shut the fuck up and cancel my service.
C: look, I'll reduce your bill by 30% every month
M: shut the fuck up and cancel my service.
C: will you tell me why you're canceling?
M: i've told you 20 times I have no comment about it, just cancel my god damn service.
C: what can I do to keep you around?
M: you can shut the fuck up, cancel my service and then we can end this bullshit call. I'm not going to change my mind, you're losing money talking to me. Cancel my fucking service.
That went on for a total of 20 minutes, you said the guy from the video got fired so maybe I should have recorded and posted that one as well. I was red in the face and had to go sit and just cool off for 15 minutes after the fact, and just thinkin about I still pisses me off.

Was it easier/harder for you than your fellow recruits having grown up Amish and presumably being more active and eating better than those who grew up "regular" for lack of a better word? I'm getting ready to go to basic for the AF as well and when you look past the workouts and psychological stuff it sounds like it will actually be a lot of fun. Once you get past the lack of sleep and discomfort BEAST actually seems like a hell of a good time.

A lot of troops on both sides were told that if they were captured to not talk about anything related to the war. Some soldiers took that order to their death and never mentioned it or refused to talk when asked about it, even 50+ years after the war's end.
