I was hit by a biker during college. The dude was turning a corner downhill that I was walking up on. He apologized profusely and helped pick up my books and papers. He then asked if I wanted a hug, which I accepted.

TLDR: Everything turned out better than expected.

This is the question I came in here to find. I'm disappointed but not surprised it has gone unanswered.

That's really great that the treatment went so well for you. I have done some research with Oxaliplatin, and it's a pretty rough thing to have to take. A stage 4 recovery is amazing, and it really gives me hope that scientists can figure out the complex mechanisms involved with cancer.
