Yeah, cooking is great. Good luck keeping it up before your body starts to give out. I mean, I'm barely 30 and I considered myself a late starter at 25 when I had years of FOH experience behind me. It's a young man's game, you're going to have to play hard if you don't want to die poor. I would try to leapfrog from your current position into a hotel/banquet operation once you have a year and some change experience and a good reference. The pay/benefits is way better.
