Yup, I learned that the hard way. I concluded that if I had anything I wanted to document, I ought to get my own website and write my own articles or reviews, rather than bother with wikipedia. You can put a lot of effort into something just to have it instantly deleted.

Edit:...AND I find it really ridiculous when I do go to Wikipedia & I see the ads, begging for money. What a joke. "Pay us to delete your content!"

Was it as bad as it's portrayed in the Vietnam war movies? Most of these films portray the US troops as pretty well blasted out of their minds on everything from marajuana to LSD.
