I am thinking about getting a MacBook Pro or air but not sure which is better. They are both expensive. What do you think?

The air would be awesome if it had a touchscreen. I heard they might soon. Thing is could just be a rumor and my laptop battery lasts about 30 mins before it dies. I would get a windows one but I hate windows 8, it sucks. Played with one at best buy and HATED it. Maybe i should just get an iPad?
