Eek, how exciting to chat with you both. First off, I love Portlandia and I am a huge fan. I have been a loyal follower since the beginner. I always turn to you both when I'm having a bad day.

My question is for Fred.

Fred, I've watched many Youtube videos of you back before you came onto the scene. There was one where you were tap dancing and asking questions at what I believed to be some sort of forum. Did you find this helpful in creating your "portfolio"? The act of actually using other human interaction and playing off of it without them knowing? As I was watching I felt it was genius, pure improv. Has this helped keep you get to where you are today and keep you grounded?
