what is the reasoning on cutting 34 jobs to save 4.3 million dollars when you gave yourself and other higher ups huge bonuses and raises?

edit* you yourself got a $264,436.26 raise from last year. was $795,497.26 not enough to live by?

Thank you so much for your reply. Honestly wasn't expecting one but much thanks for your explanation. I was just there tonight for the Getty college night and have much respect for what you and the Getty is doing but i was very troubled when I saw those numbers. But even though your salary is based of other people in similar institutions couldn't you and other other execs have volunteered to take a pay cut if money was tight at the Getty?

i think 1.5 million is still too much money. but i say good on him for getting the education and taking the right steps in life to get to that position and being paid that much.
