What was your reaction when the conference ended and they hadn't actually revealed the system itself?

Cavin,
I know this is super late, so I don't really expect an answer, but my curiosity has the best of me here. How is your outlook on life? I know that I have a rescue dog that had been through a lot (parvo, coccidia, a hernia, pneumonia) and he has this incredible zest for life and outrageous happiness about him. I'm certain it's because he's just happy to be alive! Has this incident colored your world, so to speak?
Also, thanks for doing this AMA. It's super inspirational. Any tips for a new and aspiring guitarist? :)

Clearly i've offended the playstation fanboys. Bring on the downvotes retards and enjoy your outdated PS4's that aren't even out yet but pales in comparison to a moderately good PC. Don't even TRY to compare it against a top of the line PC.
While I agree with you that it ought to have a SSD, Blu-ray and flash storage are the way of the future. I'd honestly rather have my games on a disc (with an easily stackable and easy to find case) than a USB flash device which I lost on a constant basis.
On top of that, the size/cost ratio of SSDs just isn't there yet, and it'd likely make the PS4 out of reach out of most console gamers.
I love my PC, but I also like having the console to lay on the couch and lazily play when I don't want to sit up after a long day of work.
So no hate from me, I just disagree that it needs a SSD. I don't think they're quite there yet to be large enough for consoles, especially considering that we're likely to see 100% digital soon and at 20-40 gigs a game, we're going to need all the space we can get.

There ya go! I could get behind that idea 100%. But who's to say that option won't become available when SSD tech gets more affordable?
I'm just curious, anyone tried to put a SSD in a PS3? Does it work? They're all SATA and most SSDs are the laptop size the PS3 requires.
PS: You're welcome.

Now THAT'S funny. I imagine it was a bit like this.
Thanks for the response!
