What kind of background experience, if any, do you guys have in video game designing and developing?

Not sure if you are still answering questions or not, but hopefully you see this.

How has gaming helped you cope with your injuries? I was once in an accident that nearly left me paralyzed from the waste down. During my surgeries I played a lot of World of Warcraft. It helped distract me so well that it lowered my stress levels and took my mind off of the pain (from the surgery).

If you haven't heard of Jane McGonigal before, I recommend picking up her book Reality is Broken or watching her TED talks on YouTube. She is a firm believer that playing video games can be a effective form of therapy.

I share the pain of working off of a single SVN repository.

When you say single, are you guys using branches or no?

If no: I still share the pain.

I broke my neck 3 years ago. Was paralyzed for 15-20 minutes, and was able to walk into the hospital that night. The doctors words to me were "you shouldn't be walking at all right now."

When you realized what happened what were your first thoughts?

So, is it still the same ax if you replace the ax head and handle?

Also, thank you for writing JDatE. It reignited my love for reading after a while of reading nothing.

But I suppose a real question, who are your favorite authors and what got you into writing?
