It is a bit ironic that you post this the very moment GMail goes down.

Alright, an actual question: What was the trickiest bug/crash/issue you ever had to debug on production? (Bonus points for something that happened since the last AMA)

Edit: I know nobody else noticed but G+ is still having issues. You guys aren't out of the mud yet.

The data is anonymized. There has been some really cool presentations on what they would like to do with it. It's all about tracking the trackers.

I've seen the WoW launcher/downloader rapidly open several tcp connections making the router crash. Caused by bad firmware in the official router for a top ISP in the UK. Could definitely happen.

No, it's not.

While wow does have support for bittorrent update, a part (up to 100%) of the download is done through multiple http connections to their CDNs. A somewhat-recent (2011) update to the launcher made Blizzard "optimize" bandwidth and resulted in issues with the ISP's router firmware.

Hi guys. Thanks so much for your efforts on SOPA and other bills.

I'm extremely passionate about internet censorship and would love to learn more about which country does what. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_censorship_by_country is an excellent start but it's a bit too "neutral"; it doesn't say much about upcoming bills, etc.

Do you have resources, posts, etc on various country laws and such which should be fought? The dangers of upcoming laws, who keeps passing them, who is behind them and so on.
