The other experiments - we had to stand or sit naked for up to 8 hours a day. It was so demeaning that even in Auschwitz I couldn't cope with it. The only way I could cope was by blocking it out of my mind, so I have very few memories of those long hours.
To me this sounds a lot like what the USA now calls "Enhanced interrogation techniques" and uses it currently on people at Gitmo.
Do you have any opinion about this practice as it is used on prisoners by American service personal? Or any opinion that you would like to share about the use of 'torture like' techniques now being used by American forces on detainees at Gitmo?
Or perhaps, any opinion or thought you would like to share about Gitmo at all considering your own detainment and treatment by Nazi's?

Perhaps a beginning can be found in turning away from the GNP (gross national product ) index for measuring the success of a nation of people. and instead turn to the GNH (gross national happiness) index as a measuring tool for national well being?
Just a thought. and thanks for the AMA. :)
