How has Simple Dog adjusted to the move? It's been a few years, I can only assume that there's no need for foot booties unless it snows..

Have you read the book Brain On Fire by Susannah Cahalan, by any chance? She went through an incredible ordeal caused by a rare autoimmune disorder, and had there not been researchers working on that topic to help eventually diagnose her (by way of brain biopsy), she likely would have been in the same boat since her behaviors were very much like this. They had her on an epilepsy unit, but she just as easily could have been in a psych unit.

Edited to add: Apparently, she did an AMA about it 4 years ago.

Okay, I wasn't clear with my comment. I pay a lot of mind to politics, and I vote - I've been a voter for nearly 20 years and I don't vote blindly. I am also non-religious. My point was more along the lines that over the span of a lifetime, caring about those you love and helping others is far more important than politics. At least, it is to me.
