I feel like I'm fighting a never ending battle against my dog's hair. We use a rake on the carpet, but should I be using a bare floor brush or the roller head thingy unpowered (I feel like the bare floor brush works better)?

EDIT: Should I use the bare floor brush or roller head thingy on tile. I realized I left a few words out.

Side question, should I even be vacuuming the hair off tile? I could pick it up myself, but the vacuum is so much more satisfying!

Wife and I did Alaska for our 10 year wedding anniversary on a Royal Caribbean ship. Only regret? Get a balcony!
