How do you feel about the current state of the atheist and skeptic movements, especially the atheism+ debacle? Is it getting worse or getting better?

Indeed. I'm quite concerned that such a movement could arise among skeptics of all people. How far do you trust the majority of atheists to resist the plusser ideology?

Do you draw a distinction between the people who say "This is degenerate filth, a sign of moral decay!", and the people who just find these novelty fetishes amusing? Or are they both being intolerant/judgmental?

Speaking for myself, I am a staunch sexual libertarian, but I can't help myself from giggling at some of the odder fetishes out there.
