How does a 1:1 token to asset remove accountability of having the asset originally?

But Trusts are still backed on a 1:1 exchange. You can't just make up a number in a trust and not have it backed somewhere, whether its stored in a bank via currency or expressed in an asset. I'm asking, how is someone selling the idea of a 1:1 tokenized exchange?-when there's never been anything backing the tokenization aspect of the exchange.

That was my main takeaway as well. OP seems to be truthfully paying for necessities and are still over 10k a year. On average, I would be able to save about 10k in about two years time.
