How useful do you think it is to deliberately engage with these scammers and mess with them, waste their time and/or "bait" them?

Useful for slowing down their activities, reducing the number of people they can actually rip off and maybe discourage them from keeping at it. I know it's super difficult to actually get them arrested.

How common is it for people to cremate their pets these days?

Thank you for what you do. I've had 5 of my rainbow bridge kitties cremated because I want their ashes buried with me.

I promised them I'd keep them forever.
