Which of the retired badges do you wish you could still earn?

Two questions:

Which of your five senses is the most evocative of this period of your life?

Did you know of any people that were imprisoned for being sympathetic to Jews?

I found one reference to an American soldier in the French Foreign Legion who was "treated as a Jew" and deported from a POW camp in a Germany. He escaped in 1941, made it back to the States, and then became one of our most highly decorated soldier/spies. There is no reason to discount this part if his story, but I've never come across anything similar.
