As a person with asthma, how worried should I be if I contract the virus? Since I have asthma, is it automatic death?

I have asthma, so naturally I am worried.

There are two questions I have for you:

  1. If I contract the virus am I done for?

  2. I've seen that covid-19 causes pneumonia. Is there a difference between "regular" pneumonia and covid-19 pneumonia?

That's actually very interesting. I haven't seen anything like that. However, I haven't necessarily done any of the research.

Thankfully where I live there has only been one confirmed case. I've been staying home, washing my hands frequently and using my inhalers WITH the aero chamber.
