The best argument is that it reduces choice in the marketplace, especially in areas where consumers may desire a more tailored net (like religious people looking for ISP-led filtering, or casual users who may only want VOD or social networking).

How will the free market solve the problem of a service provider that somebody else chooses blocking or restricting your content?
By purchasing from a competitor.
The issue is not the ISPs when it comes to competition as much as it is local governments interested in exclusivity agreements.
