Did your vocal style come naturally at first, or was it something you had to work at to refine when you began making music? And what was it like the first time you heard yourself recorded singing with a band, did you hear it and think you could someday helm a world-famous outfit like Soundgarden?

Jonathan: you play such a deadpan character but lend such depth and heart, and I love your work. How much of Mike was your interpretation and how much was Vince's vision? Did you see Mike as we know him today when you auditioned, or did you see him a little differently as a character?

Rumor has it that the band got paid a nice sum by a member of a "connected" family to play a wedding reception in the early 90s. Is there any truth to that? If so, is there anything else you can tell us about that experience?

I stood in line 4 hours to meet you guys at Rockfest 2013 in KC. You've got some pretty dedicated fans. What's your favorite "crazy fan" story?
