Taxes (state, local, federal) are at their lowest levels in the last 50 years. However, income growth for people outside the top 2% of earners has been flat since the late 1970s. This is why my beliefs are correct - because they're based in measurable facts.

I'd also like to chime in. I was first introduced to Watership Down through the animated movie, as most kids in my cohort. But when I got old enough I read the book, and really loved it.
I got a kick out of Watership Down being in Stephen King's The Stand also ...

Professional scientist, part-time musician here ... I sometimes write science songs. I wrote one about Emma and Charles Darwin and another one about Kary Mullis discovering PCR.
This is probably why I haven't had any commercial success.
