I wish you all the best getting back onto your feet. While blue collar jobs are most likely the best route for employment don't give up on computers. A good friend of mine has a few violent felonies and did 5 yrs. He taught himself programming and got a great paying job. Many companies don't hire felons b/c if they harm a customer or something the company is more liable. With tech you aren't surrounded by customers (blue collar as well) so that liability to the company goes down. Good luck! You may want to check out /r/excons
