Mauer has had plenty of down time.

I had PRK on 1/3/13 and had one or two days of scratchiness and NO pain during or after surgery. Take them up on the Valum when they offer and do drops and meds AS PRESCRIBED and you will have no problems.

PRK is ye better choice if you can go a week without driving or seeing. Much lower rate of regression.

For PRK they actually remove the lens and let it grow back. For LASIK they just make a flap.

Do you love anything more than a tue bar worn in the correct position?

Same, some scratchiness for a couple days and then rewetting drops every day. The irritation is very manageable.
