Why do I cry every time I hear the phrase, "I am a leaf on the wind. Watch how I soar"?

Are there any sherpas in this movie at all? The trailer looked like it was just white people climbing a mountain all on their lonesome which couldn't be further from the reality of climbing Everest.

How much preparation goes into a performance? The way you can flow through the songs is amazing. Do you put together pieces or lyrics or is it all on the fly?

You are a genius, sir.

I'd be really curious how much screen time they get as I certainly haven't seen one in any of the media about the movie. David Tait, an expert, stopped his attempt to become the first person to do a round trip traverse said this about abandoning it:

It was not fatigue – Yes, be humble as there is always someone better than yourself. I was trying to achieve a first, but to have done so would have been at the expense of the worlds best (Phurba Tashi) whom i would have had to ask/order to follow me – despite being twice as capable. Once I realised this, it was an easy decision to decline. If I had been allowed to climb solo, claiming the title would have been ligitimate, but asking Phurba to follow behind me was not the way to do it.

Any movie which underplays the role of Sherpas in climbing Everest is really a waste of time.

We are best friends now and we're getting a timeshare together.
