Generally speaking, that urge might be enough to disqualify you from donation. At least here in the UK.
There's a pretty hefty psychological side to donation, and they make sure to try and get donors to realise that the organ is a gift, not a debt. If you're likely to feel they owe you, or you're going to be a risk of demanding it back, or even I believe if you're at risk of being violent if they "waste" your gift, they look elsewhere.

Not disagreeing. Especially in America where, presumably, that would not be covered by insurance. But I suppose there is an idea that, once you become a country where there's an opportunity for people to sell their organs for financial gain, that immediately puts a price on organs.
And once there's a price on something, that means someone is going to find a way to abuse that for monetary gain.
