Why do the parents take this action? Stating their decision as you do it seems completely irrational. Why do they do this?

I'm surprised there could be ignorance of a disease which is so prevalent. Is there no public health campaign to assess and address how the disease occurs? And even without that, if so many people around them get the disease, why is it considered not serious?

This is my all time favorite.
