What is the best way of learning the fretboard and for hearing exercises? Is there a website or something I can visit to help me improve?

Yes my guitar teacher has done this before. He played a random note on his guitar and wanted to play the same one without knowing. However I get it usually after 4-5 attempts, so I was looking for a way to improve on that.
