What is a bone marrow biopsy like? Also just wanted to say thanks for doing an AMA and good luck with your treatment.

Sounds awful. I had a teacher explain his bone marrow biopsy and he said they couldn’t use anesthesia and it was the most painful thing he’d ever experienced. It was awful just to listen to him explain it. I was just wondering if others had different experiences.
