Hello quantum computer guy I'm a normal computer guy and I have 2 questions for you.
1) On a hardware level what makes the processor in a quantum computer different than the processor/processing array in a supercomputer or any other computer?
2) Not long ago I spoke with a theoretical physicist who was working with quantum physics. One of the things we discussed was how current processing power, even in the most powerful of supercomputers, is simply not enough to perform the near infinite number of calculations that need to be performed in the incredibly short duration a quantum Particle is revealed. My second question is, will these quantum computers be fast enough to perform this massive number of calculations or are we still a ways off?
