Is it not the case that it only counts as 'dehumanization' when it concerns groups whom the left wants to defend, i.e. Muslims or black people; yet never 'dehumanization' when it concerns groups the left is itself often engaged in 'dehumanizing', i.e. the alt-right, or 'narcissists', or hebephiles, or blue-collar white males. Are you even pretending that your project is ideologically neutral? Isn't it the case that, when x affirms, for instance, a perfectly valid criticism of Islam, call it 'p', the response 'p is dehumanizing' is really no more than a polemical move intended to de-legitimize a prima facie legitimate assertion. What is really said when 'p is dehumanizing' is affirmed, is 'let us agree that p is not to be a valid move in a certain language game, or set of language games'. 'P is dehumanizing' is not a proposition with a real meaning, where 'dehumanizing' would be an actually existent property of assertions; rather, it is a political attempt to reset the rules of discourse, such that propositions discomforting to the left become defined as invalid assertions.
