Common sense is required. Such as if you’re stopped at a light in a line of cars to go straight and the right turn lane is completely open, do not move into it, just stay where you are.

Wouldn’t it be so much easier if the Opticomm actually worked like it’s supposed to?

I only say this because I have actually had people do that in front of me while driving an ambulance is part of a general statement about people needing to use some common sense when getting out of the way.
