And just think, we have about fifteen minutes to restack those pallets when they come in turned over. Plus spilled everywhere with a truck driver bitching about how he's gonna be outta time. Then we pull them to our department doors and have to downstack and restack them again because they're stacked too high for the door. Then we have to stack them into the bins. All for probably half of what you make.

Yes, this is the main problem I have with Alex's views. If he can't justify something statistically he falls back on the "progress" routine. No amount of progress should outweigh the health of our environment. That's unethical. If you go that direction, then you can justify anything.

True, but beyond fracking. I heard Alex make the point once that creating trash is good because it creates jobs. This is a bad philosophy because "creating jobs" can be applied to many potentially disastrous industries.
