I've been looking forward to this for awhile just so I can personally tell you how much I love Broken Lizard films. I've seen them all many, many times. They have such an incredible charm, and the characters are always fantastic and well done. So thanks for all the laughs. My question: how do you guys develop your characters?

This has been an ongoing discussion on Reddit, courtesy of the IMDB trivia. Can you clarify once and for all consummation of this real syrup? Was it maple? Was it diluted? Was that a genuine look of disgust when you had to finish your bottle?

"We need a symbol if we ever want people to take us seriously."
"Yes, something that truly speaks to our values and world view. What could we use?"
"Let's use Satan, the world-wide epitome of evil and misery and suffering and hatred."
"Won't that make it look like we condone evil?"
"Nah, it's cool. We'll just say the devil has a bad rap. We can turn his image around."
"Why don't we just choose someone else, like a Greek god or something?"
"Goddammit, I already have a pentagram scar on my arm from 8th grade. We're sticking with Satan."

Hello, I am a journalist (But compared to your work I feel like Rob Schneider telling Anthony Hopkins that he's also an actor). Thanks for helping rebuild public trust in journalism, you guys are heroes in the newsroom.
Anyways, something I've been dying to know:
There's obviously great importance to investigative journalism, but such meager resources for journalists in most newsrooms. What was your workload like? How much time did this take on your average day, and was it on top of your regular duties?
I'm seriously geeking out, I love everything about this story. I hope there's a book someday, and the inevitable movie.

I just made a pretty terrific sandwich. It's a satisfying yet very attainable goal, so I feel like I know pretty much exactly where you're coming from.
