I have AT&T internet and I pay $62/month for a max of 14 Mbps. I hate it.

The issue is the only other options are Comcast or one of several others that no ones ever heard of. I live 10 minutes outside of where Charter decides they're limit is. And AT&T doesn't even offer this internet anymore, I'm grandfathered into a bad deal.

On a good day, with a wired connection I may hit 14 or 15 Mbps. And that's after an upgrade to their highest plan.

My town is about 2,200 people. It's not really rural but it's about the middle between country and city. It's 10 minutes from where I could have Charter. There's 2 or 3 companies I can switch to but they all are famous for being terrible and only 1 I've ever even heard of.
