Can you tell me about the wildlife? I was blown away the first time I saw a pronghorn in NM (I'm from the Gulf Coast) and I hear they are everywhere along with mule deer and other big animals. One of these days I'll make the road trip up there (24 hr. drive one-way).

That is awesome! The best I see out my window right now is the neighbor's cat.

Congrats on the CAREER Grant and interesting research program! My question is a bit off the wall and more pedantic, but I've noticed that some universities group meteorology with geography (like UF) and others have a separate meteorology program. What differences (if any) are there between the two? Thank you in advance.

I see he was a senior lecturer, so probably non-tenure-track. Not that it matters either way, he says he's an educator.
