Agreed. I really wish he had sold the integral thing more and drew on other quadratic forms you get from integration in physics:

• Potential Energy in spring: U = 1/2·k·x²
• Kinetic Energy: K = 1/2·m·v²
• Distance of falling object: y = 1/2·g·t²

... and therefore

• Area of a circle: A = 1/2·τ·r²
