I'm 30 and my great grandfather was born in 1863. Grandfather in 1892. Parents in 1951/1952. Grandfather was 45-55 and married my grandmother who was 20. I've literally never known any of my grandparents on either side as they died at least a decade before I was born.

Weird to think my grandfather would have been almost too old to serve in the first World War.

I have heard the touch problems are related to something called the "coil" going bad. Any truth to that?
