I just wanted to address this and apologize. You're right, I'm a marketer and I made a faux pas in this community. I read every single one of your comments last night and today and took them to heart.
I do want to explain that Hooman works around the clock and has been reporting in Geneva. With our schedules, I've never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. The questions I asked were honest questions that I never had the chance to ask over the course of working on the book. I genuinely did want to know about his fear in writing such an honest book about Iran and about how he thinks the book might serve his son as a reflection on childhood. I understand now how that was received as poor reddiquette. I'm not sure about the other accounts or who was using them, I only used /u/Littlelenore to ask my questions.
This is reflective of me and not of the author. It was an honest mistake that I made and something I will most certainly learn from. You guys are a savvy, awesome group and I'm sorry for being uncool about that.

Hey ThePheonix5, I want to thank you for reaching out. You're not only super savvy but kind. The option of /r/defaultjems is incredible but I think this time we'll let it go and I've certainly had a lesson in reddiquette. I wasn't posting for a reply but really appreciate it!

Also, I loved the stories with your son in Iran (the car seat thing killed me). What do you think he'll think when he is older and reads about the experience?

Your book is so honest, were you afraid to write about your experience in Iran in such an open way?

For the Adult Bedtime Stories tour, what are you most excited about? How will you decide which PJs to bring?
