I guess the rattling aspect has a strategical advantage but 'pretending' to be an asshole still just makes you an asshole.
It's like those people that are obnoxious, punching you in the arm, "dude you stink", "dude you gotta lay off on the hamburgers", "whats a girl like that doing with YOU!?" and then you finally tell them to shut the fuck up and it's all "Hah! take a joke bro I'm just joshin' ya, just kiddin around, just takin the piss. Learn to take a joke bro! HAH! I'm just fuckin around bro!" Those people aren't pretending to be assholes, they are assholes.

I assume, if it doesn't already exist, a collaboration effort could be made to map out every legit cell tower across the country and then profiles could be uploaded with "safe lists" so that you'd only connect to those towers marked as safe.
Though I have no idea how often official cell providers add or remove towers.

It's amazing how being outgoing and social can result in SO MANY opportunities.
I used to be a bit of a shut-in, always trying to be independent and "figure things out on my own" in fact I turned down a lot of easy opportunities because I felt like I "didn't earn them on my own" but in reality success is often built on networking with others.
Going out, hitting the pavement, making friends and being social can be one of the best ways to succeed and to have meaningful experiences in life.
It's actually awful that so many people don't realize this or prefer to shut people out and do things on their own because you accomplish so much more with the help of others and opportunity is truly waiting around every corner if you're a person who knows to go out and look for it rather than waiting for it to fall into your lap.

Eh, I sort of see where you're coming from, but at the same time just because a channel is primarily aimed at children doesn't mean it can be a replacement babysitter.
The parent still has a responsibility to oversee what content their child's subjected to and if they fail to do that then the blame is on them.
There are plenty of parents that don't (or didn't) let their children watch shows like Ren & Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, The Simpsons, South Park, etc. even though those shows weren't specifically marketed as "Mature Entertainment" or anything like that.
Everyone's always looking for a scapegoat for their own faults or ignorance and angry mothers against television networks is one of the most cliche of all, right behind angry mothers against rap music and angry mothers against video games.

The last part with the manager telling you to stop was probably because at the start of the day it hadn't been resolved yet, so he wasn't sure if they'd take them back (maybe the error was on his end) so in that event it would be better to get a jump start on the physical correction rather than sit idle waiting for a response from the supplier. It's just good management in a bad situation.
