Because most of them teach you technical things that you can learn on your own and not focus on proper creation.

You're spending tens of thousands to get internet tutorial education in most cases and when you're hired only three things count: Your portfolio, your connections and your experience.

In most schools you'll be a special (paying) snowflake and won't be given realistic career advice.

With Gary Vaynerchuck being as bullish as he is on social media why do you think he is not investing in Reddit?

Seems to me like this is a great platform that would mesh with his philosophy.
