I guess my point is that it appears to be a bit of a shell game. The words change, things move around. There are plenty of reasons for global temperature fluctuation. Human causes seem more like a reason to tax people and put a damper on capitalism.

1978 Time magazine reported that we were headed for a global ice age. People would have to live underground. 1990s it was global warming. Now it's climate change. We've had record cold days in the NE. What's the deal? Is this more political than scientific?
