I know all about SoaD and Screamers, no need for the lesson here. To me, the 24th is a somber day, not a holiday. A day to honor my countrymen that perished because of this terrible crime. Blasting any type of music would be disrespectful to their memory. Celebratory behavior of any kind (especially the drapping of flags over cars) on this day is inappropriate to me. If you want to celebrate being Armenian or the inspiration and impact that SoaD has on our people and people around the world, please save it for one of our independence days (May 28 or Sept 21), an actual holiday where it should be acceptable to wave flags and play our music loudly.
