It's definitely both! Artists always need things from their managers, managers need things from the label/agencies, vice versa. And no one has patience either. I'm mostly talking about employees who work at these bigger corporations, not managers or artists tho.
Record label/agency employees already work well over 8 hours a day from my experience. And there seem to be far too many last minute changes on releases, plans, etc for people to take a day off. Seems like it would have to be scattered days off to ensure things were covered.

How could this work in 24/7 industries like music? Record labels, agencies, etc. Seems like there are too many moving parts to take a day off.
