One of my heroes in the field calls the diagnosis "an assault on women" and never diagnoses anyone with BPD. Instead he diagnoses them with "complex trauma". What is your opinion about that? Thanks for sharing!

Tom Nichols, author of The Death of Expertise, advocates that people not engage in discussions with others who endorse conspiracy theories thay have not been substantiated by experts in their fields, primarily academics and scientists. Nichols argues that one should simply dismiss their claims outright and not argue or debate the merits of the conspiracy theory. Why do you believe that debating the facts is a more effective strategy in debunking bogus claims?

Stephen Andrew. He has authored books but I have been learning Motivational Interviewing from him for a decade. Well, I am not anymore because I graduated so to speak but he is great.

This is the correct answer. I had a similar experience. US milk is mostly poisonous. The soy is riddled with glyphosate. It's a shit show and causing millions of literal shit shows. I was also helped by a chance encounter with a dietician.

Not OP, I know, I think it goes without saying that genetics causes predispositions to major mental health issues but I think the literature is pretty clear that BPD develops due to a pervasively invalidating environment. Some families say it is genetics because they dont want to reflect on their own intergenerational toxic shame.
