Damnit, I'm really sorry that this happened to you. That is horrible. Sometimes the universe just sucks :(

How have your feelings about your condition changed over the years?

Edited for grammar.

Agreed. He's actually taking the time to think about the questions he's being asked and give a real response to them. If any PR people are reading this, take note of the response this AMA is getting - this is how an AMA is supposed to go.

how do you respond to the fact that the majority of this district does not agree with these views

This is a good point and something that many Redditors will not care to hear. Anyone living anywhere on this planet is obviously not enlightened if they don't agree with Reddit's consensus opinion on social issues.

I'm from the same area as Boehner (north Cincinnati suburbs). In fact I've seen him around before. And his traditionally conservative views mirror that of the area's pretty well. This area is like a nightmare for young hipster redditors living in their gentrified artsy neighborhoods downtown - it's nearly all white, conservative, nuclear families who appear wholesome and successful. Everywhere you go here you see happy, traditional families out enjoying themselves in their SUVs and minivans. It's like a throwback to the 50's when America's demographic makeup and social agenda were much different. The area is by no means radically conservative, but it falls right in line with today's mainstream conservative views.

It's a nice, clean, safe, convenient area to live in. The people here want to keep it that way. We've seen the majority of Cincinnati proper turn to blight and we would like to avoid the same fate. The policies of the Democratic party are as abhorrent to the majority of people living here as the policies of the Republican party are to the majority of redditors.
