The fact that it's ignored upon is worse than anything. I don't even know who the guy is, I clicked on the AMA because I write about cars and was hoping to see some quality car stuff. Unfortunately I saw this instead and was incredibly disappointed that it seemed to be ignored.

Actions are louder than words, even when the actions are words.

The steps I took when starting to code (With the exception of buying a Mac for that purpose):

  • Learn Objective C
  • Learn basic web coding (PHP/HTML/etc)
  • Buy a Mac for X Code (if you're coding for iOS)
  • Enroll as a developer
