we shared digital files CONSTANTLY. lots of phone calls back and forth, swapping in new tracks, mixes, pushing dropbox storage space to the max.

At least in terms of how I approached mixing Hawaii: Part II, I made the conscious decision not to try to make it sound "good" or how I thought the "best" version of this track would sound. I did everything I could to try to link every sound and nuance to the emotion that I got from the song, assuming that in some way, you can in fact share emotion through vocal filters, reverb patches, echos, panning etc. humbling to hear that this may have really worked
