Is torturing and eating of dogs as widespread in China as we think it is?

While I completely agree with you that consuming any other meat does not put any of us on a higher moral highground, the west's problem with dog consumption is related to the excruciating torture the dogs have to endure before death because for some reason they believe that the meat tastes better if the animal dies in agony. Very good answer otherwise.
