Is "itsdanbull" supposed to be a play on Istanbul?

Is Dan Bull your real name or a stage name? Sorry if this is obvious, I have no clue who you are aside from the header on this post.

If it's a stage name that is a play on the city name, what was the reasoning behind this?

One of the first PC games I ever played was the Dark Queen of Krynn. It was on an Apple Classic II with a black and white screen. So many hours into that game as a child.

Later I remember picking up a box set of TSR / SSI games with two Dark Sun titles (Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager), Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession, and other games I can't remember now. I may still have the box kicking around somewhere.
