So I mean, I live in Beijing and I'd also say the situation is a bit worrisome but not more, definitely not scared or panicked BUT..

I always see this comparison! 'Take a look at how many people died of the flu this year!' - and this argument is extremely misleading.

It is true, in 2019 about 60000 people died of the flu worldwide - but that is out of millions of infections. The mortality rate of the corona virus is much higher and when you compare it to its close relative, the SARS virus, its rate of infection is noticeably higher as well. There are many other worrisome factors, like the fact that it has a long incubation period, asymptotic carriers or possibly infects through touch but that is not the point that I was making.

You comparing it to the flu like that is like saying 'Look, only 2000 people died of Ebola in 2019, the flu is so much more severe than ebola!'.

No! The only reason the corona virus isnt claiming more lives (and dont forget it is still ongoing) is because we are aware of it and actively combat it, for example with such quarantines.

I'd rather get sick with the flu than with the corona virus, you can be sure of that.

edit: Doesnt mean that the flu isnt mean, its just easily preventable. Get your flu shots, kids! It protects you and everyone around you.

Sorry, to be honest I dont really know your show, but its interesting that you would be able to actually make a job out of it. So following questions:

1) Where do you get your income from?

2) About how much would that be a month?

Your title makes it sound that you actually survived one of these camps yourself; but from what I read in your post you yourself have never been. Still you talk about rape and torture which are very serious allegations.

What actual proof can you provide for these claims?

Yeah, you get used to it. The rioter crowd is quick to condemn anyone who says something critical of the hong kong riots as a wumao, a person being paid manipulating public discourse in the favor of the CCP, and as such whatever they say, but in reality it is them who are manipulating said discourse; this is just one example of that.

They say they want to 'protect freedom of speech in hong kong' but in reality they censor said free speech, by beating up anyone who doesnt agree with them. They dox people, threaten their families and friends; and many people in hong kong are just too afraid to speak out against them publicly.

Numuves on Youtube made some interesting videos on it. He traveled to Hong Kong at the height of the protests and tried to interview several people and had some real difficulty finding people talking to him critically about the protests; not because they didnt exist but because they were scared.

I gotta say, I havent finished the documentary yet and I personally think all three of these park owners seem pretty crazy and all of them seem like villains in their own right.

It seems however to me that the disappearance of her husband seems really weird to say the least. She was was set to loose everything, especially the big cats that she loved.. and then he suddenly just disappears, months after he seeked a restraining order and days after he repeatedly says he fears for his life.

Do you think, considering how passionate a person she is, that there would be a possibility that she killed her husband after all?
